Heli-ski warm up & coaching in three steps
- A few days before you head on to the CMH Heli-Ski lodge, you can choose to ski with us in Revelstoke or in another ski resort in B.C. We help you develop the special technique for skiing in deep powder and it allows you to warm those muscles up and get rid of the jetlag. To facilitate transportation requirements, check with CMH NORDIC to know which ski resort would be best suitable in regards to which CMH lodge you have booked.
- You can also ski with us in Åre, in this way you get more practice and get to use those leg muscles to be ready for the big turns in Canada. We are available in Åre from pre-season and up to the end of the season.
- Are you interested in a really comprehensive preparation, we already start in Spring the year before your trip to Canada and you could also try heli-skiing in Sweden for a few runs. This could be good if you are a bit unsure and would like to be more prepared for that part of the heli-skiing. We also give advice regarding the physical training.

The Heli-ski warm up & coaching program is designed with one goal in mind, which is to help you and your ski friends get the maximum out of your time in the mountains with CMH. When you leave work and the daily grind behind you in Scandinavia and head for those big mountains in Western Canada, the verticals are big and the powder is deep and so you need to be in real good shape in order to enjoy the skiing from the first day to the last.
